Goodbye to another year of awesomeness

As the year draws to a close, and the endless array of symposiums finally reaches the exhaustion line, we take a moment to cherish the spirit of the year 2010. We reminisce the victories that defined us, the failures that helped us emerge stronger and sharper, and the medley of emotions that bounced in betwixt. The Exun family grew a fold larger, and a knot tighter. With Exun 2010, which I sadly missed, we showed the world that we’re still out there, making history, and our capabilities are truly boundless.
So, here’s to another glorious year for ExunClan. The future seems bright, but the path seems difficult. Resolute, we work towards success, and surmount the challenges that come in our way. In the end, difficulty need not foreshadow despair or defeat. Rather achievement can be all the more satisfying because of obstacles surmounted.
May we live long and prosper!

Its that time of the year again – EXUN 2010.

Yes, we’re back again! A glorious new year. An amazing new event. The name is the same, but the game has changed. After the epochal success of Exun 2009, how could we complacently sit back and relax? We are back with a new stage, and of course, with greater challenges for our participants. All our hard work and effort will gain eminence in just a few days, and honestly, we are as excited as you are, to participate in EXUN 2010.

As our new administration stepped in this year, we boldly took up the task of delivering an event of incredibly grand proportions. It wasn’t an onerous one, because we love what we do. But challenging? Yes, it was. Year after year, Exun is considered as the “Best Computer Symposium” across schools in Delhi and NCR. We don’t mean to gloat, but this is one laud that we’re particularly proud of. All schools across the region look forward to registering for Exun, where every computer enthusiast puts his skills to a true test. What defines Exun is the people behind it – a dedicated team of highly motivated individuals working day and night to deliver a fantastic symposium. To check that every cog in our “quality machine” is working fine. When I first joined the Clan, this is what appalled me. Frankly speaking, this is what attracted me to the Clan in the first place, apart for my passion for computers. Sincerity is a common denominator among the diverse Exun members. I call the Clan “diverse”, because each of us thinks differently, and for some inexplicable reason, every Exun member can infallibly deliver a refreshing idea or perspective to any issue at hand. No, this is not an exaggeration, but merely an observation from the point of view of a relatively-new member.

So, this year, we hope that you enjoy Exun 2010. And if  not as winners, then surely as avid participants.

Nano with a new touch!

Apple’s iPod Nano really has come a long way since its inception in 2o05. With the sixth generation in tow, Apple kept it slim and lithe, but to really keep true to its essence, the new iPod Nano is tinier. Yes, it is as small as the current version of the iPod Shuffle, and its sports a multi-touch screen as well.

The new iPod Nano, as usual, features a lot of vibrant colors, and you can clip it to your favorite shirt or the pocket of your trousers. Talk about hands-free music! Storage is presently available at 8GB or 16GB.

Check out the new Nano –

Stanford University 2005 Commencement Speech

Since a lot of us from this year’s batch are applying to Stanford U for undergraduate admission, I thought that I’d share their 2005 commencement speech. The speaker was none other than Apple CEO Steve Jobs. The university, considered as one of the topmost in the United States for computer sciences, has famous individuals welcome freshmen every year.

Send in your ideas to [email protected].

If possible, you can even suggest ideas as to how we can improve UNDER_SCORE. As Exun goes national this year, it is only natural that we take UNDER_SCORE to the next level!
