Yes, the Moment all WebDesigners and Developers have been waiting for is finally here !
A visit to the Link given below is definitely recommended for all those souls who live to trawl the internet.
This, my friends is just an inkling of the Stuff to come. :D
HTML5 incorporates features like video playback and drag-and-drop that have been previously dependent on third-party browser plug-ins such as Adobe Flash, Microsoft Silverlight, and Google Gears.
The new Standard has integrated development capability, and with new stuff like the <video> tag (which, incidentally, allows developers to create Dynamic Video players and Site Plugins for video playback WITHIN HTML ! )
[ Read more about it HERE]

HTML5 introduces a number of new elements and attributes that reflect typical usage on modern websites. Some of them are semantic replacements for common uses of generic block ‘div’ etc.
Some deprecated elements from HTML 4.01 have been dropped, including purely presentational elements such as <font> and <center>, whose effects are achieved using Cascading Style Sheets. There is also a renewed emphasis on the importance of DOM scripting (e.g., JavaScript) in Web behavior.

^Sample WebPage Formats which will be available in HTML5

Sorry, I’ve Strayed Off Topic.
The Main Reason why I’d written this post was to give everyone a preview of the first Google HTML5 Apps on the Internet.
A Google-Run Website, called Mono-Cubed, is home to the largest collection of HTML5 Goodies yet.

Have Fun Exploring HTML5 !
