it’s over :-(

Hey,

the apple special event was a real let down, no new ipod, no iphone and no video streaming box.

What actually was announced:

rev on ipod nano

the went back the to the ipod-mini style case( the way i like it), bumped the storage, dropped the price, made it smaller and put in some better batteries. the black one looks sweet.

rev on ipod 5gen

Not the video ipod we all wanted,
comes with longer battery, more hard disk space some new software. nothing earth shattering.
they have also dropped the price a little bit.

rev on ipod shuffle

the new shuffle is really cool looking and smaaaaallllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!, love it!!
kind of reminds me of the Saturday night live video with steve jobs.

new version of iTunes and iTms

New itunes with improved iTms. Much needed hi-res content and movies.

thats about

New iMacs here already !!!

Yes, there has had been speculation that apple would launch a new 23″ iMac on 12th September, when it will hold a special event. But whoa! They are already here …. Meet the iMac family , and it goes al the way up to 24″, Not to mention it has Core 2 duo on the inside now.

Now these new Mac are nice, screaming fast and beautiful but is there some underlying strategy, an ulterior motive ?

It just seems to me that apple is now going full steam at the media centre market. If you can buy a 24″ computer that works out of the box and then just plonk it in your dorm room, instant computer/TV/media centre.

Now, for the more speculative part. If apple has a special event coming up just next week, then why coudnt this announcement wait. Does it mean that the new announcements are going to be so big that Mr. Jobs feels the new iMac, a 24″ one at that, is less important. Apple has even upgraded all its mac mini’s without a word.

A a good friend, I’ll leave you drooling over what’s next: here’s the invitation card sent to the media, for the special event on September 12th.

Google Hacking

First of all “thank u!!” for the wonderful feedback which I have received for my first post. But I’m sorry for being so technical in my first post and also for not introducing myself. I am ankit srivastava an ethical hacker (a person who works towards increasing security) who has just joined exun. My posts on lnexun do not aim towards making you feel more insecure but aim to instill in your mind that no software can provide you complete security. It’s the knowledge of these existing loopholes which can help you to secure your p.c.

In this post I would like to talk to you about something which almost all of us use everyday for searching “google”. Well there exists a term known as google hacking. It’s not connected to getting into the google server but using google to execute malicious codes which give hackers or crackers important information is known as google hacking. A person known as jonny(http://johnny.ihackstuff.com) has written a whole book on it.
I would just like to show that how easy it is to use google to get into security cameras around the globe.
Well all u got to do is google this
1)“view/view.shtml”
2)“MOBOTIX M1” (the good results for this research would start from 9th or 10th page)
3)“MOBOTIX M10”
by doing so u would see all open security cameras on the internet and u can access them without even using a password. Well if u browse through all the searches then u would not only be able get into casinos of las vegas but also into marine school of united states, some other universities and not to forget kennedy airport. So now can u see how easy it is to break some security barriers. For a complete list of open security cameras arranged according to the country they belong to go to http://www.griffid.com/?page=livecams.To know more google hacks go to jonny’s page http://johnny.ihackstuff.com/ or buy his book “google hacking”.
