The upcoming decade of Exun

Yes people…

The new session 2005-2006 Exun will host its 10th Interschool computer symposium better known as Exun. Lets aim at making it national this upcoming session by inviting select schools from all over India and also win more and more trophies. After all we are the Experts…

Another new feat which is goin to redefine the gaming section of Exun is the awakening of Domain Square starting from the 2nd week of April…Hopefully!!! But it certainly will require a lot of planning which will obviously be done…

Anyways, best of luck to all the people for their exams, entrances etc.

See ya all soon.

Picasa – The Ultimate Picture Organiser

Picasa is software that helps you instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on your PC. Every time you open Picasa, it automatically locates all your pictures (even ones you forgot you had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names you will recognize. You can drag and drop to arrange your albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure your pictures are always organized.

It scanned souvik’s 40 GB IPod, Computer 20 GB Harddisk and Whole Mandrake in less than 90 Sec.

Picase was earlier used to cost $30, now it is brought by Google, and it is freely

available to download. http://www.picasa.com/download/download_exe.php.

You can edit the images, set up passwords, add ratings, share them with other, create collage (which will surely help unskilled digex people), create movie out of them, posters etc… And its slideshow is of the best.

And for these nerd people ot there, if you take a look at the picasa and IPhoto 5, you will find similarities. It is completely a clone of IPhoto 5.

Imagine Cup – current status

Hi Everyone

Hope the pre-boards are going fine – all the best to everyone.

I just happened to check the LeaderBoards for various Imagine Cup categories. Disappointment – not a single Indian entry into the top 10 of IT/IT High School/Visual Gaming/Visual Gaming High School.

True, Visual Gaming requires you to score just 300 points to qualify for the next round but IT is an “Online Quiz” – i thought we’re gonna beat the hell out of it.

India is #2 on the registrations list and Anna University, IIT Madras are #1 and #2 on the top ten colleges by registrations list. Hope that shakes up some rankings. Still a month to go before we close the submissions.
